Tom Nieman is the Founding Board President of The LIV Foundation. Tom is also a Financial Services Industry veteran who has served in many different roles including management, sales, relationship management and operations. Additionally, Tom has worked in Higher Education and Human Services.

Tom has earned his MBA and MS in Management from Centenary University, BA in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and currently holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation through Fi360.

Tom is also Life-long Yankee Fan and father of twins.

Janine Nieman ​is the Founding Board Vice President of The LIV Foundation.  She was previously a stay-at-home mom for eleven years and has recently returned to the workforce as a para-professional in an elementary school.  Prior to being at home for her twin children, Janine was Activity/Volunteer Director at a Long Term Care facility in New Jersey.  


Janine earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Farleigh Dickinson University.  She served on the PTA Board for five years, serving as either President or Vice President.  Her main roles were fundraising and coordinating volunteers.  


Janine lives in East Stroudsburg, PA with her twin children and husband.

Rebecca Moore is a high school counselor in Dutchess County where she helps students with social emotional, college and career goals.  Prior to her current position, she worked in advertising and marketing for a global financial services firm.  In addition to her role as a counselor, Rebecca coaches youth soccer, leads a Girl Scout Daisy troop and is on a youth foundation committee to help provide leadership programming for students in Dutchess County.  She is passionate about helping children and their families gain equal access to well rounded, healthy lifestyles.  She is connected to the LIVFoundation to help give care givers the balance they need at home to take care of their children.  Rebecca graduated from Ithaca College and received her masters at Hunter College.  Rebecca lives in Red Hook, NY with her husband and three children.  

Nan Becker is the Board Treasurer of The Liv Foundation.  Nan is a retired Director of Finance of IWK Packaging Machinery, Inc. She earned her BS at Sarah Lawrence College and MFA at The Yale School of Art & Architecture. She has worked with various non-profits in accounting set-up and support.

Supporting families of children facing life altering illness

Malcolm West is an Internal Wholesaler with ADP Retirement Services.  There he helps clients establish new 401(k) plans, and transition existing plans to ADP’s services.  Prior to working there, Malcolm worked as an individual financial advisor at Ameriprise Financial.  Malcolm has earned his BS and MBA in Business Administration from Ithaca College.  Outside of work, Malcolm enjoys a number of outdoor activities, including camping, skiing, fishing, and hiking with his wife and two dogs.  He is passionate about helping families have access to the healthcare and ancillary services that they need to lead a healthy life.
